As you walk down the long entrance hallway, lit with neon lights, echoing with the sound of a subwoofer and ending in a giant mirror, it is evident that this is a high-quality establishment. Owner Simon Kim and his team dominate the art at this stylized Korean steakhouse, which looks like a temple dedicated to beautifully marbled and aged beef, much of which is displayed in a nearby room.
Just like the original New York location, premium ingredients, wisely seasoned dishes, and attentive servers create an impeccable experience. New visitors should start with the butcher's feast, a generous tasting that includes a variety of banchan, multiple cuts of meat, and two types of stews. Finish with the Wagyu kimchi paella, a true marvel.
