Gastón Acurio and executive chef Diego Oka opened this Peruvian restaurant on Brickell Key in 2014, and despite being in a city that prides itself on staying young and attractive, there is still no restaurant that can match its views. Located at the base of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, the expansive terrace sits right on Biscayne Bay, offering a full view of the Miami skyline. It is a spectacle to be savored, and that is why no one reserves a table inside. Meanwhile, friendly waiters present an extensive menu of favorites. Start with seafood: the ceviche, loaded with grouper, shrimp and octopus, is dressed with a spicy leche de tigre, while the succulent jumbo scallops come seared with parmesan foam. Classic umami-packed lomo saltado and a spicy pisco sour round out any good meal here.
