Inspired by the deep friendship between the original chef-owner and Kitaoji Rosanjin, the current chef takes pride in his collection of wood signs, calligraphy and tableware. In search of a perfect harmony between aesthetics and flavor, he adapts to modern times by incorporating Western ingredients. Upon entering the dining room to greet his diners, the chef personally serves takikomi-gohan (rice seasoned with soy sauce and cooked with various ingredients). The friendly host provides attentive service in the tatami rooms.
