Casa Vigil was founded within the El Enemigo winery, owned by renowned winemaker Alejandro Vigil & Adriana Catena, daughter of the iconic Nicolás Catena. The original idea came from an intimate concept: Alejandro prepared sandwiches and simple dishes to accompany his wine tastings. This humble approach quickly transformed into a fine dining restaurant offering a full tasting menu, paired with El Enemigo’s extensive wine portfolio. Iván, originally from Buenos Aires, has a wealth of experience in the gastronomic industry. Before joining Casa Vigil, he worked at prestigious venues such as Cabas Wine Lodge and Hotel Fierro in Buenos Aires, where he cultivated his passion for Asian food, a taste that is reflected in his current creations. This culinary diversity merges with local flavors, creating a unique experience in each dish he serves at Casa Vigil.
